Our 'Western Legends Tour', a 5 day - 5 night tour, includes everything our 'Signature Tour' offers as well as an extra day in Kanab, Utah. Enjoy the most exciting annual cowboy festival the city has to offer. This exciting tour is offered one week in August of each year. Western Legends is the "Yee-Haw" of the Wild West. People flock to Kanab, Utah to take part in this exciting annual celebration. Native American dances, an Arts and Crafts Fair, visits from old time movie star cowboys, poetry recitals and good old-fashioned western food and music, brings the Wild West back to life! All this excitement adds to the western feel of hiking, sightseeing and discovering the natural beauties of the four National Parks: Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Lake Powell / Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. All meals, trail snacks, lodging, and exciting nightly entertainment are included in this tour. Natural history presentations, a visit to one of the areas finest historical movie star hotels, and watching a classic western movie in a barn, are only a few of the activities on the agenda. Your trail guide will provide you with a never ending supply of geological and historical information. The small tour groups will make your experience much more intimate with the natural surroundings, and will give you many more opportunities to photograph, and take in the serenity of the beautiful country.
